If it no longer exists, it won't be turning up on Granada Plus!!!!! What is the point you are attempting to make?

Yes, one of the two pilot episodes is missing apparently, Steve.

Of the two pilots, "The Ronnie Barker Yearbook" is missing but all eight editions of series 1 of "The Two Ronnies" exist and have been shown on UK Gold.

Hi
Thanx for the info.
My Kaleidoscope guide (1997) lists Series 1 Show 3 as being junked, I taped the Two Ronnies when UK Gold showed them about 8 years or so ago (I think) and Series 1 Show 3 was never screened, but the other 7 were.
I just wondered if it has either been recovered since that UK Gold run or was never missing in the first place, and was just not shown.
Out of the original UK Gold run of many years ago I don't think they ever showed Series1 Show3, Series2 Show4, Series3 Show1 or any of Series7.
Am I Wrong?, I might have just missed them!
Any info would be appreciated (re screenings of the above shows), I'll go mad if I missed them, or indeed "bonkers" if UK Gold just screened them as "one offs" as they were known to do.
I hope Plus will show them, so i'm gonna have to subscribe to sky again! GRRRRRR!! ;D

You must have missed some, they definately showed all eight editions of series 1.
All eight are listed for screening on G+.
It is a little confusing, I must admit.
It is true that KAl have an edition from series 1 listed as junked but it is an error, oddly enough they list ALL of series 2 as existing BUT ( as you pointed out ) UK Gold only showed seven of them.
Therefore series 2 MAY have an edition junked but I notice that G+ ( in the trailer for the series ) show a clip featuring Sue Lloyd from the series 2 serial "Done To Death" so they must be screening series 2, it will therefore be interesting to see if they show seven or all eight, proving it one way or another.
As for series 3, UK Gold also showed ALL eight from that series and G+ over easter screened six editions from that series including the first one.

All the episodes of The Two Ronnies series exist - they were all shown (bar a couple of Xmas specials) by UKTV in Australia.

It did seem unlikely that one edition would be missing out the entire series, so that's good news.
G+ may only have aquired the first four series as the trailer seems to suggest.
UK Gold also screened the 73 Xmas Special, "The Two Ronnies Old Fashioned Christmas Mystery", last Boxing Day.
