It is possible to use the breif clip of Troughton from the macra terror in the three doctors, by warping and resising the frames it will be possible to flatten the image out and display it as it would have been origionaly any computer genius out there with the right software?

pity well there you go; what about the totp beatles clip? I don't know what technology would/could be used but we're only talking a few seconds of footage. Would the restoration - or whatever - of an otherwise lost Beatles appearance justify the time, resources and labour required? I'm more interested in whether or not 'Ticket To Ride' will be heard on the eventual DVD release of 'The Chase'. IIRC the music rights have changed hands since the VHS release and the new owners will want a lot of money.

I love The Chase. I remember as a small boy the "archive article" on it in Doctor Who Weekly in 1980 and thought from the pictures and the text that it was a great epic. Some VHS releases in the 1990's ruined some myths for me (yes thats you The Web Planet!), however whilst The Chase has many faults I still love it to death and have gladly shown it to friends. And they are still friends
