| presume that all Peter Summers threads have gone because he created some discussion. Sad to see that freedom of speech has no place in the world of lost episodes...I mean how dare anyone question the likes of Rihard Bignell.God help anyone who dares question the likes of Steve Roberts or Paul Vanesis. Please, lets stop being so pompous.....

You are, I would assume, familiar with the concept of trolling, Robbie?
P.S.: How's Well'ard?

Re: "Pete Summers etc etc": Has anybody any real interest in all this personal politics stuff? No wonder no one posts anything of interest about missing TV here anymore! Happy Easter!

There's nothing pompous about it, Robbie. Mr Summers was becoming a bit of a pain and most if not all of his posts/queries could have been posted under one heading but he chose to open umpteen separate threads. Not only that but when people who actually know what they're talking about responded in a more than courteous manner their responses were dissed in a very disrespectful manner.
It's really strange - I post on a number of forums but it's this one in particular which seems to elicit the strongest negative response to Dr Who. That's not a criticism - it's just that IMHO a large number of people who have an interest in vintage television have an interest in Dr Who but most people who have an interest in Dr Who consider them the only missing episodes! The joy of this forum is the fact that so many other things apart from Dr Who (and I speak as a DW fan) are discussed. I've learned a fair deal from this forum and have come across a lot of very learned, experienced people. A bit of respect is all that's required.

Spot on, Ian;Mr. Summers seemed to be going out of his way to CREATE argument and provocation;life's a bit too short to argue with people like that.

I think Peter's posts were deleted when it became somewhat obvious that he was just one of the regulars having a bit of fun and taking the piss.
It was very funny and extremely well done - but his insight into a lot of very obscure areas unfortunately ended up betraying his identity.
I'd worked out who it was and confirmed it with him, but I wasn't letting on to anyone else, I was enjoying it too much! I guess Mark or one of the moderators must have reached the same conclusion independently though...
