Having once actively been involved in the search for possible missing episodes located here in Canada, I was wondering if all possible leads and avenues for locating lost episodes in Canada have now been exhausted?
I do recall quite some time ago that Ralph Montagu was in discussion with the chief archivist at CBC in Toronto about searching for possible lost episodes residing in the CBC archives. I also recall a rumour, which I think was eventually proved false, by a man who claimed that his father use to work at a tv station in northern Canada and retained copies of every episode shown. Also what ever happenned to the claim that CBC (or maybe CTV) in Edmonton Canada showed Dr. Who beyond when CBC nationally dropped the series in 1965?

1 - the "father at the TV station" rumour was indeed proven to be false. 2 - no-one has yet come up with any kind of proof - not even a single listing in a newspaper - of anywhere in Canada showing B&W DW beyond Marinus. A couple of people have memories of such screenings, but there's no actual proof as yet.

Re point 2 - guess its time to start digging for those 1960's copies of newspapers.

I keep hoping I'll stumble across something at a yard sale or car boot sale from an immigrant Franco-American here in New Hampshire.
