I think they're talking about the series "moonbase 3" not Dr Who. I think it had some Who links in the form of Kit Pedlar, but I'm not 100% sure. As for it being dull - well, I liked it! You have to consider the era it was shown in, so today it would seem slow and lacking in action.

Has anybody noticed that the BBC are n longer updating their 'Treasure Hunt' site?
Does this mean they no longer care?

yes i noticed that, seems a bit odd as it cant cost much to maintain the website and without it they are loosing a useful link with the public to recover episodes. can anybody find out whats going on and get it reactivated?

It's not going to be reactivated.
It was a short-term project implemented seven years ago. The site has been closed and locked for some years now.
