Hello. I'm a long time Doctor Who fan, who has been missing out on this end of fandom. I have read Unlimited Rice Pudding, joind Ian Levine's forums awhile back, and am wondering where else either in print or on the net, to look for good info to start getting into the missing epiosdes stuff. I also would like to ask what the chances are of finding anything in America, and where anything like that might be. (I take it in the hands of private collecters.) I tried to register here before but had problems doing so... Also, since browsing here for awhile as a gues would like to state that I am indeed me, and really asking these questions, lest I am thought a fake.

Very unlikely that you would find any missing epiosdes in the USA since the B&W episodes were not aired here until the 1980s (well after the missing episodes went missing).

Not to forget the 1960 episode of "The Avengers" that turned up in UCLAs archive along with some other lost British TV gems... Sure, there have been a few things in the US (I've found a couple of missing BBC shows here myself) -- but that doesn't alter the fact that it's unlikely that they would be here (not impossilble). To illustrate the point : So far, the # of missing Hartnell or Troughton 16m T/Rs of Dr. Who that have been returned from the USA is --- drum roll -- ZERO...
