Hi,
sorry if this has been done before, but i was just wondering if someone could let me know the most recent few Dr Who episodes found by the bbc?
Also if there is a site anywhere that allows you to see what clips exist of missing episodes and if you can get hold of them.
thanks in advance

The most recently found episodes are:
Dalek Master Plan: Day of Armageddon (2004) The Crusade: The Lion (1999) Tomb of the Cybermen 1-4 (1991/2)
All the rest were recovered in the 70s/80s.
The vast majority of clips from missing episodes are available on the Lost In Time DVD set: a most excellent purchase.

when the bbc agree to the colectors price i have been promised a copy of the episodes on vhs i will put clips on my website They never will - I'm the only one who could do that, and that's why the appeal was put out on Blue Peter. This is just another timewasting wind-up.

Seriously, you're going to have to do better than this to rope people into your little attempt at a hoax....

When you advertise on programmes like Blue Peter for missing episodes then you can expect younger people (eg 15 year olds)to maybe come up with either a missing episode or another hoax. Rather than get all wound up over it, why not just give it time to either prove or disprove itself? The last thing you want to do is blow any chance of getting a recovery while at the same time not encouraging another attempt at a hoax.

So far as I know, nothing came of the 'Blue Peter' appeal. It was worth a try, but perhaps the well has run dry. I think there could be a handful of missing episodes out there. Whether or not they get returned to the BBC is another matter.

Looks Like Ainsworth is craving for the attention he thinks he deserves

Any atempt to alert the general public to missing episodes of Doctor Who, is well founded in my view. Even if nothing is found now, there may be someone along the line who remembers a appeal on TV while looking at a local car boot sale, or antique shop. I would not cast this aside as a waste of time just yet, these things take a while sometimes. It was five years between the discovery of The Lion and Day of Armageddon. I to believe that there are more episodes out there to be found, if they are is another matter entirely. But we will try our best to find out if there are indeed more travels of William Hartnell,Patrick Troughton, or Jon Pertwee out there in time and space. Fingers crossed everyone. And A Happy Hollidays as well to everyone on the board, hopefully santa will drop a missing something in our stockings this year. Cheers, Lance.

You'd burn the surviving episodes of The Tenth Planet if it meant Boise State would beat The Sooners. ;D

Boise State has a big task to accomplish in that. I am not keeping my hopes up though.
If it would mean that Boise State would win, then I certainly would not burn Tenth Planet. They need to learn to stand on thier own feet, and work for thier common goal, victory !

Trust me, if it meant UGA beating the Hokies in the Bowl formorally known as the Peach Bowl, a lot of Dawg fans would do it. Me, i'd have to think about it.
