I was reading on the RT forum about the possiblity of Troughton colour sequences to quote what was written here it is: " have now found it, and it is the Troughton titles sequence, it's the standard title sequence for Troughton stories and starts up with red and blue colouring, the colours change in a similar fashion to the first Pertwee title sequence, then Troughton's face appears in full colour, with blue eyes, then Doctor Who is in yellow which is then followed by a 3-colour sequence.
It looks authentic, but I have absolutely no idea where I got this from, it's something I've had in my collection for years. Is this known to exist elsewhere? Was it something the BBC produced as a colour test, or was it produced by a private individual? It's very well done, it's not an amateur colouring attempt.
I only have the opening titles, nothing else in colour. I'd be interested to know more about this if possible. "

I know alot of you read these posts and I'm wondering what your thoughts are on this?

I certainly have never heard of any Troughton color material like that before. This thread has been read 133 times, surely someone else has some idea to what this chap is talking about.
Lance.

This was definetly done by a private individual. Can't remember his name. I might be wrong but i think he discovered the faceless ones ep.3 & the evil of the daleks ep.2. it is featured on the lost in time three-disc boxset.

That would be Gordon Hendry who returned Faceless 3 and Evil 2.

Yes it is. it is the titles to one of the special features. i think it is the opening titles of "the missing years" documentary. No. The colourised titles for The Missing Years were put together by Steve Roberts using unused material from the Hartnell and Troughton title test footage. It isn't the same as the title sequence that's being talked about here. Richard
