Yeah, the smiley face thing is cool. But I think it is time to move on to something else.

Ian Levine mentioned on the restoration team site that it's been one bad lead after another. Does that mean all of them that the two of you have been talking about have fizzled out?

Hello All,
I know you all want to know exactly what is happening. All I can say is that this lead is not a load of crap at all, and is being followed up. I know we have all heard this hundreds of times here on the board, but these things take time and patience. We all will just have to wait and see what happens.

Well, I hope you end up finding something Lance. If not Doctor Who, maby you can check into some other little lost gems.

I really am quite interrested in the finds this year so far. An episode of A for Andromeda and the episode Level Seven from Out of the Unknown. I found a quick summary of the episode on Google, it sounds really erie. I cant seem to find much about the episode of A for Andromeda though. Does anyone have a good site for that one ? And have any of the existing early episodes of Out of the Unknown or the existing clips from A for Andromeda been released commercially by the BBC ? If anyone can shed some liught here for me I would be greatfull.
Thanks, Lance.

Well, I hpe it's somethign good ... but I think perhaps the best is to just sit back, let Lance and Ian do their things, keep fingers crossed ... and hope that by this time next year we're watching a newly restored copy of Tenth Planet 4, Fury from the Deep, Evil of the Daleks, or insert your favorite missing Doctor Who episode/serial here. Good luck guys, hope you find something!

Hello All,
I am still working on my leads at the moment. Hopefully they turn out to be worthwhile, it will just take some time. I hate waiting as much as the rest of us, but that is what is needed when dealing with these leads and possible hoaxes. It seems like the possibility for a who recovery by the end of this year is quite good, with two fantastic recoveries so far from Ian Levine, and it is only the end of March. Plus the audio recovery ( although non-who, not that any are needed ) by Paul Vanezis. We will just have to wait and see what happens.
Lance.
