I have found this site on the Film Archives of Zambia, here is the link: www.fiatifta.org/aboutfiat/members/archive/zambia_nat_arch.htmlHas this archive been searched for missing material? I can seem to remember that this was one of the archives that stated that they could have missing material in thier archives but were wondering what they could gain by searching thier archives. If anyone has any input or new info it would be appreciated. Thanks, Lance.

I have found this site on the Film Archives of Zambia, here is the link: Did you notice this bit Lance? "Almost all fiction shown on local television are foreign productions. As a result, they are never deposited in the National Archives." Richard

I couldn't keep a straight face when reading about the storage medium used for permanent retention of films etc. Once they are selected for preservation they are then retained long-term (permanently?) on VHS (!?) Then I read the bit at the bottom that explains that things are kept on VHS because they can't afford higher resolution media. OH BLESS...!

You are totally right Richard. It is highly doubtfull if this particular archive has any DW, or other non-zambian material. So, Richard where exactly are all of the foreign productions deposited? If you don't mind me asking.
Lance.

New Zealand, Zambia and Nigeria all bought episodes in 1974... As far as I know NZBC did not purchase any episodes in 1974. Their last purchase was for "The Wheel in Space" toward the end of 1970 and their next was "Spearhead from Space" sometime in 1975. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Nope: no need to correct you, you are entirely correct. Must have had my "buffoon" head on when I typed that post. Just Zambia & Nigeria bought episodes in 1974. Sorry 'bout that...
