Hello Again,
As I have read in the recent magazine " Nothing at the end of the Lane, issue #2 " a most interesting item of note, concerning a brentford film library card. On page 46 bottom left side of the page. A copy of an original Brentford film library item card for episode 5 of Power of the Daleks. Now as you can see there appear to be several instances of "Junked". But there are two instances it states 35 mute neg CL51001 ( 27354 ). And 35 CL30593 (229531) Cl30594. Through all of these film listings there is a line, no junked marking. I am guessing that means missing prints from the Brentford archive > I was just wondering if a senior Doctor Who fan, or member could shed some light on this matter.
Thanks, Lance.

But there are two instances it states 35 mute neg CL51001 ( 27354 ). And 35 CL30593 (229531) The film library index card is for Episode 6, not Episode 5 and it actually says CL 51881 (273 ft) and CL 30593 (2293 ft), indicating the film can number and the amount of insert footage contained within. If you look at the card you'll see that the information that is crossed out is simply duplicated from the lines above, which is marked as being junked. In other words it's simply a mistaken double entry that they noticed and then crossed out. Richard

God I must get this magazine someday. You better do it soon, Brad. We're down to around our last 40 or so copies out of 1000, and we've already temporarily closed down the ordering page on the website until we're sure that everyone who has ordered their copies has actually received them. When the site is reopened, it's likely that the remainder will be gone within a very short time. Richard

You got my email address?
If you remember, can you give me a buzz when reordering opens?
Just got a house and mortgage payments are quite high for someone who doesn't have a proper job yet, hence my less-than-enthusiastic urge to get the magazine outright.
But I do want one.

Judging that clips from "Power of the Daleks" recently turned up, I'm hopeful that a whole episode or two might be out there. I mean Elektro still exisits, and that should in reality probably gone the way of the Trylon ane Perisphere.

has he been restored yet? Yes, and I believe he is on display now. I don't have time to link up with Newsarama, but they did an update on him a few weeks ago.

I bet he doesn't smoke cigarettes now I'm pretty sure all the electronic innards are not there. Just the robotic body. Sad, really.

Unfortunately clips of DW turning up, as part of programme material that was retained from the start as useful to the BBC long-term and not saddled with the same rights probelms, has no bearing on the possibility of whole episodes turning up...

I'd give a web address, but I don't have the time to do it at this moment. You could check if the original post is still here. I've gotta run right now.

As a lady at the BBC said 'They were put on video tape after we filmed them. When we sold them some were converted back to 16mm reels and then sent them, becasue not all contries were on them at the time. So they are out there Somewhere...' I hope that this gives any doctor who Fan who has lost his faith in the lost episodes, hope once again. Support the BBC releases!!!! ;D
