2004 was an exellent year for episode recovery, and episode material recovery. With Day of Armageddon being found, and the Fury trims, and the Power trailer being uncovered. With 2005 now in its third month, does anyone believe any material might be uncovered this year, or most likely will it be a few years down the road? Any comments, or ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,Lance.

The Fury trims and Power trailer were both found in 2003 rather than 2004! ;D

does anyone believe any material might be uncovered this year Well the Space Pirates thing sounds like a dead end, so I'd say no. or most likely will it be a few years down the road? There seems to be at least a 5 year gap between finds lately, so this seems more probable. The best chance will be if ABC Australia have anything.

"Hey everybody, Lance here. I want to apologise for my constant interminable posting about missing episodes, and I just want to sincerely say sorry to anyone I've annoyed, it's just that I'm very keen on Doctor Who and I live in my own private Idaho. Anyway I'm sorry, and I promise I'll be more circumspect in the future......
(the next day)
... so, anyone know if there'll be any missing episode finds this year? Huh? Huh?"

TEXT There is a fair chance that it is only me, but if you object to people discussing things about missing episodes, aren't you on the wrong forum?

To be honest, I doubt more than one or two episodes [of Doctor Who] will be returned to the archives in the future. As time goes by, the possibly hypotical surviving episodes are likely to be lost forever.
Prove me wrong, please. I just hope there ARE missing episode hoarders who know the value of the episodes. Even if we never get to see them, it would be good to know that they still exist (and, if they do exist, there's always a chance we'll get to see them one day).

You never can tell Maybe the massive amount of publicity the series is currently attracting might help. Sooner or later the press will run out of things to write about Who2005, so maybe when they publish another article about lost classics it might (just might) reach a wider audience... Never give up hope, but be prepared for a long patient wait.

Thanks,Lance. We just don't know Lance, I'm sure more episodes will be found, but it could happen in a week, a year, 5 years or even 10 years. It is getting harder to track down lost material than ever before, with it being highly unlikely that any old Tv stations have any more material, or any other episodes being in this country is not likely, baring masterplan 4, the best hope is Australia and New Zeleand, there are people looking in these countries which is a good thing!. We just have to be patient, its not a case of if but when.

The superstitious among us may say that you're tempting fate, but I have to agree, 2005/6 does seem like having a good chance, what with the sudden explosion of eBay and the program returning to TV that will stir up some interest and awareness.

What "sudden expolsion" of ebay did you have in mind??? Doesn't seem like any more activity in the last year than in previous years. Am I missing something??
