I was wondering if anything was ever heard from the man who recovered the Australian censors footage (whose name escapes me at the moment). I recall he expressed an interest in tracking down the prints of these episodes that are uncounted for in Australia, but, other than that, I haven't heard anything about him since. Did he not have any comment to make on the recovery of Day of Armaggedon?

sure he expressed an intrest in finding DMP but hey there are a Lot of Epp Hunters (and not just for who) Down Under. and he has as much chance as the rest of us.. and i really don't think it's here, I Think it was sent back. IE the prints of 5,10, 2 could have been these??j

True episodes 5 and 10 could of been sent back. But i doubt that 2 was due to the fact that it was rescued from a film shelf in the BBC archives. So those episodes of DMP could very well still be in Australia. Keep searching Down Under.

So does anyone believe that Mission to the Unknown and DMP do exist somewhere in the world? Or did they get the chop?
Thanks,Bill.

True episodes 5 and 10 could of been sent back. But i doubt that 2 was due to the fact that it was rescued from a film shelf in the BBC archives. When ABC viewed and rejected The Daleks' Master Plan, it's likely that they would have returned the prints to BBC Enterprises. If Episodes 5 and 10 are the prints sent to Australia, it's just as probable that Episode 2 is as well. Episode 2 was in a room used for calibrating 16mm projectors, not in the BBC Archive. Richard

I suppose there's no way we can verify that by looking at the actual film prints or cans ?

What about the directors of these episodes. Possibly they might or recived an episode from a fan or other source? Probably not, just a stray thought,

At least they found an episode with Katarina, and not a clip.
