Re : The final days recording of Radio London. This was of course on August 14 1967. The Marine offences act came into force at midnight. I have the COMPLETE Final 2 days on mp3cd. Superb quality for recordings made 41 years ago. Also got the final 2 days complete of Radio Caroline. This was GREAT Radio, it just doesnt get any better than this. If it wasnt for the likes of Johnnie Walker, Robbie Dale, DLT and others too numerous to mention, we would only have an hour or so per day of quality Pop music on the radio. The Pirates certainly made the BBC sit up and listen to the kids. There were other great Pirate stations around that time too. Radio 270 from Scarborough, Radio City from the Thames Forts, Swinging Radio England, Radio 390 ( An easy listening station ) and others. HAPPY DAYS !!
