Hmm...
He says "Quick commercial- I'm a collector of UK radio programmes. I am also into preservation and restoration."
And he also says... "I just do not have the time to slog through them."
He says he's into preservation and also says he can't be bothered to listen to some old 1960's reels. I smell something.

There's only so much time in this world Dan! He doesn't say he can't be bothered- he says he lacks the time. There's a difference.
From the details that are given it looks like a decent buy- if only for that Radio 390 stuff!

The Same seller of the last missing BBC audio tapes is now selling a lot of supposed missing and lost Top Of The Pops TV recordings from the early 1970's. As well as a supposed missing edition of Morcambe and Wise from 1971. Just click the old auction link, and look at sellers items for sale and you will see them there. He states he is going through a time capsule of sorts, this is supposedly where all these rare tapes are coming from. There are just too many questions here, might these be just old TOTP shows that were transfered to reel audio tape ? If these are originals, I would love to hear some of the Sweet, and Slade TOTP shows, as I love glam rock music stuff of the early 1970's. If not, they are certainly interesting. I never knew that EMI had their own brand name of audio tape, interesting. Or, International Electronics, sounds like International Electromatics from the Dr Who serial "The Invasion", neat bit of useless info. Any info someone could shed on these tapes would be appreciated.
I also learned that the buyer of the last batch of so called lost BBC TV recordings here from the sale seller, is more than willing to loan the tapes to the BBC for transferring, and preservation, granted he gets his original reels back in good condition. Thought I would add that as well.
Cheers, Lance.

This seller is a very decent chap. He transfers and preserves these reels since the BBC won't. An unofficial preserver so to speak.
I have had some e-mail contact with him, and purchased one item, he's a gentleman.
