So who's going to bump up the "TOTP DVD" thread then?

to post replies in the Music section. Is it just the music section and if so why? You use to be able to post on this forum without registering. So why change it?

Because some rather annoying person or people has/have taken it upon themselves to post rubbish here on a regular basis, which rather fooks it up for everyone else. Apparently the TOTP/Music section is the most targeted board for these "comedians". I remember "Caroline Rose" and "Neil Moon", in particular. The latest spammer seems to find it amusing to post some rambling Greek-style text messages that don't seem to really mean anything. But he won't be doing it on the TOTP board!

Yes. I remember this "Neil Moon's" comments. He use to post such crap like what was on TOTP on such and such a day and he never use to say thank you afterwards. I don't think he ever heard of the saying manners costeth nothing. Maybe this character should learn that.
As for this "Caroline Rose" character. Her comments were just rude. And, if I remember rightly, she got angry when nobody agreed with her. I originally came on here just to read the comments on here and, until now, never use to post on here. She use to always have pop at someone called Neil Barker too if I remember rightly.
Will we ever see these obnoxious characters on here again? I doubt it somehow.

to post replies in the Music section. I think you need to do this for new threads now as spammers and knobs are starting to infiltrate the site in this way now.

Sadly, over on the Dr Who board somebody registered as several members then had an entire conversation with himself, using the various member accounts to make it seem as though it was different people! Members only or not, the clowns wil find a way. Charles

to post replies in the Music section. Long overdue, Mark. Has there been a re-evaluation of the moderating staff at the same time..?

This clearly isn't working, as the stinky plops : worthwhile new thread ratio is plunging in the wrong direction.

Mods, how can I change my screen name to my own name (instead of my handle) without having to re-register? I wish to comply with the forum rules.

Trevor Hilton Hi Trevor, Pop into your profile, and somewhere near the top, there should be a link to "Modify Profile". Click on this and you should be able to change your screen name there. Best wishes, Rob
