Indeed I have a batch of shows covering Britpop and the Ric Blaxhill era from November 1994 to mid 1996, taped from the BBC1 transmisssions though sadly not in stereo and not all of them are in perfect picture quality if this era is of any interest...

Have ALL editions from july 89 july 96 would be impossible to copy onto DVD or post the tapes to anyone have not viewed any of them since first recording am thinking about getting rid of the entire archive not just totp but nearly 20 years or so of collecting pop tv/ video.

Sympthise completley, my friend. I'm converting various material from VHS to DVD, but until we went multi channel in 95, we had odd TOTP clips dating from late 1983 until late 1991. We only gave up after watching the early Elstree shows & thinking 'God these people can't sing!' Did it actually get better later after then, or worse?

It got much worse, then a little better then when the Spice Girls came along, it sank into total mediocrity! Mind you if it werent for them, I'd have a much bigger video archive!
