it's such a shame the majority of mud's totp's appearances have all gone to that magnet in the sky.for example dynamite, tiger feet, moonshine sally and show me you're a woman.so can anyone remember these appearances and share some mud memories.

I recall Mud's TOTP appearance for Crazy (1973). They wore white gangster suits with black shirts / white ties and wide-brimmed hats.

DLT joined them onstage for the 31/1/74 performance of "Tiger Feet" which exists in 'private hands'.

I remember seeing them do Hypnosis (the follow-up to Crazy) and they were still in the white gangster suits I think. Les Gray had a thin Midge Ure-ish moustache and he did a kind of slow fall backwards during the part of the song before the last chorus'; the bit where he does some evil laughing (I think...I'm trying to remember how it goes after 30-odd years). Actually I remember them being serious and quite menacing. They didn't lighten up until Dynamite :-)

I think I remember the appearance for 'Rocket'; I recall them performing near a chaise longue (or perhaps a casting couch, considering some of the lyrics); I went out and bought the single at Woolies - 40p!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I can remember being surprised when they performed Moonshine Sally in the studio, because this was an 'old' track put out by RAK after they had signed for Private Stock, and Mud had been quoted as saying that they were very unhappy with that happening. Then they went and performed it on TOTP anyway. Money talks.
