Can Someone please tell me who presented top of the pops on 6th September 1973 and 17th October 1974 and what the line ups were as this information is not in the database

......try the BBC DB. err, they did and it isnt there, i believe they found that, and thats why they ask......
and when they ask that, there is no point in sending people back to the BBC website, as there are gaps with no explainations, thats why people ask about shows
normally with gaps there was purely no show due to industrial action, over runs, cancellations , and sport take over
but i do agreee its silly asking about things that are purely in the database.

Some editions are missing these are 12th August 1976, 8th September 1977, 9th September 1982, christmas day 1992, 24th March 2000, 11th and 18th August 2000, 29th June 2001, 21st September 2001, 1st November 2002 and 25th April 2003 and the presenter is not listed for 9th January 1975, 8th June 1978, 10th October 1991, 4th January 1994, 17th March 1994 and 24th August 2001

everything beyond sept 1977 exists in full (excusing days when there was a strike or simply no show)
though all the shows you state do exist, and aren't missing

no i meant all those episodes and presenter details are not in the database i have since discovered it does not list the presenter for 29th november 1973, who did present that show
