For any fans, there's a slightly dodgy quality copy of the 'missing' episode from season 2 with David Yip available on UKNova just now.
According to the comments, the BBC have a copy of this but are still listing it as missing in hopes of obtaining a better quality copy.
Perhaps I should note the existence of bad quality copies on the main Missing Episodes List rather than keep listing such episodes as entirely missing?

Hi Stuart, I personally think that would be a good idea. As long as the footage in question was marked with something that clearly labels it low quality so as not to put anyone off from returning better quality material.

...sounds like the copy of that episode I sent back to the BBC a few years back. In actual fact around the same time, a friend of mine sent back a complete copy of the Paul Darrow series 1 episode. A rather badly edited copy of this episode had been in circulation for a few years (made by a Blakes 7 fan who edited out - or rather "fast forwarded" through anything which didn't directly relate to Darrow). As "The Adventure Game" is a mini obsession of mine - I think I've now tracked down an off-air of another of the missing episodes.... ...more news as and when !! (fingers crossed).

I know this isnt probably the right place to ask this and if it isn't please remove this post, but I have been trying to join UK Nova for several months. I try several times daily and I have filled in the form several times only to be told the member limit has been reached. Its really irritating because I'd love to be getting decent BRITISH TV stuff instead of having my pick of American dross elsewhere!
How on Earth can I join up? Its doing my head in, especially reading episodes of this show I loved are available on there!

That's very good news about the Darrow episode (and just goes to show that things happen behind the scenes that you never hear about). And as Infax now lists the Darrow episode, I thiink we can safely remove it from the Missing Episodes List - excellent! Stuart

Actually Infax lists ever one of the 'missing' episodes - so have they all been returned in reasonable quality?

Infax lists all network programmes (and most regional programmes) from July 1976 onwards regardless of whether a copy exists. On the system as used internally in the BBC there is a dash against a programme if there are no holdings for it, I don't think at present there is any way to tell the same thing from the public version.

So, he said ingratiatingly, is there a dash against the various apparently missing Adventure Games? :-) For those shows recorded pre-76 does an appearance in the public Infax mean a copy is held then? Cheers Stuart
