Do academics actually hope to lead followers to the achievement of Nirvana or Oneness with the Ultimate Goddess? I know there's been something of a rejection of a rejection of rationality in some universities, but hopefully, this one's a spoof!

The only rational explanation for this apparent and timely miracle is that most of the audience were too intoxicated (and the adults) by the time the Nu Who Christmas specials aired to realise how utterly terrible they were. Had it been otherwise the mortality rate would’ve surely shot up instead one suspects. Certainly my own modest enjoyment of them was purely contingent on how sloshed I was at the time - the more festive shandy’s I had shrewdly imbibed the better they invariably became…  |

Doctor Who picked up the Christmas baton (which is like an ordinary baton but with more twinkly bits) from Only Fools & Horses, passed on from Morecombe & Wise.
