Hi folks...just wondering we all know left a vast amount behind...but a as a fan of 50`s rock`n`roll....i dont suppose he recorded any `6-5 or `Oh Boy shows? and did he have any rock`n`roll 45`s or LP`S?......just curious......Dave

Don't think music collecting was his thing AFAIK...and there would have been no domestic VTRs around in the 1950s either.
Apparently around 13 'Oh Boy's were sent to the US on 16mm at the time for evaluation for broadcast but was never returned.

yes...i know about the 13 sent there, i gather 1 or 2 episodes were found a few years back, i think they are in the hands of the BFI,....possible public showing?....fingers crossed

They may have actual episodes..the problem being for release is the music performances may have separate rights clearances. ie a minefield.

I'm pretty sure all the surviving episodes (plus the extra surviving clip from the ABC 10th anniversary programme) were released on Network's "ABC Nights In" DVDs, if you can track those down. The individual release contents are usually listed on Amazon and the like, so you should be able to find the ones you need for the Oh Boy! eps if they're still available.
