Might be one of those personal preference things but recently, on a flight back from holiday I was watching the loose canon reconstruction of the Highlanders and greatly enjoyed putting faces to actors many of which I previously had no visual mental image. After a couple of episodes though I found that I was missing bits of action that I didn't feel were best represented by the pictures and ended up playing Fraiser Heinz narrated sound track that came out in the early to mid 00's over the top and I found it greatly improved my experience....the only slight issue being sometimes they would lose sync as where it pauses the sound track for narration didn't always match the telesnaps...but I feel these two things marrying up together properly could be a much fuller experience. Just wondered why no one had done it before is all.....and if they have where are they available

I suppose it might be a rights/ethics thing. Using the original sound track and tele snaps is a lot less piracy than a specially recorded sound track the more recent time and effort has been invested into. Il go back and watch the crusade with it on.....and the Web of fear actually as I do not enjoy that particular animation and telesnaps with frazers narration is probably less jarring.....is it William Russel and frazer on these two respectively

Are we talking about the narration done for the BBC LE releases about 20 years ago? If so, I've watched an episode on DailyMotion and found it quite odd to hear Frazer Hines, for example, circa 1968 speqk dialogue and then seconds later the same voice but 30+ years older doing narration I didn't know they were on the DVD releases though. Those DVDs... The gift that keeps on giving.

I'm not sure. I wouldn't be surprised if they were from Audio releases of the episodes that had narration
