I vaguely recall a chap doing a visual effects feature on tv many years ago, possibly late seventies early eighties and he had the actual working model of the dalek saucer from the 1966 movie I think it was Mat Irvine but my guess is that it was either Nationwide or Sixty minutes on BBC One. I only ever saw it once so apologies if I am mistaken but does anyone else here recall this

I only ever saw it once so apologies if I am mistaken but does anyone else here recall this Mat briefly borrowed the model for what he thinks was an item on Tomorrow's World, although he's not completely certain about that. The model had been returned to its owner sometime prior to July 1980, which is when the Astronomical Society of Haringey's storeroom at Alexandra Palace (where the model was temporarily stored), burned down.

I do recall the saucer being on a table in the tv show and he activated it, but he was doing a general talk so the focus on the saucer was very brief but he did say it was the Dalek flying saucer from the movie. I had forgotten about Tomorrows world so it certainly could be from that Thanks Richard
