Something I've been thinking about recently. Acts that are classified as One Hit wonders who are not techinically. E.G. The Casuals, best known for Jesamine, got to number 30 with Toy. Lieutenant Pigeon got to number 1 with Mouldy Old Dough and number 17 with Desperate Dan. Chicory Tip were number 1 with son Of My Father and had 2 top 20 singles with What's Your Name and Good Grief Christina. There must be loads more.
Over to you William McGregor and Peter Checksfield.

My Dad has a 3 disc set of acts classed as One Hit Wonders but quite a few had one big hit and a few minor ones.

Hearing The Waitresses Christmas Wrapping again reminded me that they are a one-hit-wonder in both the UK and the US, but for different songs. "Christmas Wrapping" was not a hit in the US, but "I Know What Boys Like" was.

Same thing with Thomas Dolby. In the UK, he's a "one hit wonder" with 'Hyperactive'. In the USA, he's a "one hit wonder" with 'She Blinded Me With Science'.

Hi Kev, I just happened to have my 1965 NME collection beside me and thought I'd look through that year as a start. Some of the songs were a hit earlier or later.
Twinkle ... "Terry" reached number 4 in the UK charts then her only other UK hit was "Golden Lights" number 21
Betty Everett ..."The Shoop Shoop Song" number 31 and "Getting Mighty Crowded" number 20
The Dixie Cups ... "Chapel of Love" number 22 and Iko Iko number 23
The Toys ... "A Lover's Concerto" number 5 and "Attack" number 36
Fontella Bass ... "Rescue Me" number 11 and "Recovery" number 32
