"Even longer Mr. Neutron..." Just how long is a personal question! I'm guessing that was the 3 and a half minutes that Paul was referring to. But also, the URSULA HITLER SKETCH!!!

Apparently, WHIZZOBUTTER2019 may be a discount code. Indeed it is. It came attached to my notification e-mail from Network. Good for 10% off. Shipping to the US is a bit pricey, but with the membership discount and the 10% off code the whole deal came in under £100 delivered. Those of you in the UK will get an even better deal. Now I just have to wait a few months before total immersion! I can hardly wait - thanks again to Paul V. And the entire restoration team for doing all the hard work!

Thanks so much. It really has been a labour of love. Still a lot to do. To confirm, read the FAQ on the Netwotk website regarding formats. If you're ordering from outside the UK, you'll get a version compatible with your broadcast system. For example, if you order in the US you'll get a 60i version. If you order in Belgium, you'll get a 50i version. The 60i versions are state of the art conversions. Anyone who has a US edition of the Doctor Who blurays will know that you'll be hard pressed to tell the difference between the conversion and the original. There is so much more to say, so look out for even more announcements from Network! Paul Apparently, WHIZZOBUTTER2019 may be a discount code. Indeed it is. I would assume they were, so that the VT conversion would be easier. Also, as it's noted as being restored in the Network press release, is the Satan animation scanned from Terry's film? That would be incredible! Thanks again for all the hard work

As long as the VT segments are not 'filmized' like the Beatles 1+ set I'm happy!

So it has been discussed elsewhere, but it's animation so it's not 'shot' at a continuous frame rate. But it is all animated to a 25 frame time base. Re: Cartoon Religions. It is a 2K scan from the only surviving prints. Paul

Oh fantastic to hear re: cartoon religions, will be a great upgrade from the B&W kinescope!

If it was shown in the UK, it will be on the Bluray. Just thinking, I hope this includes the Montreux special!

Well damn look at that!
I'm guessing this uses the original audio from the film print, with a bit of the audience reaction mixed in from the 16mm telerecording when Satan appears?
I wonder if an off-air videotape from the uncut PBS airings might be a good source for the original soundtrack?

The latest email from Network says the release has been pushed back to November because they have discovered even MORE things to include in the set. I have never been so pleased to learn something was going to be delayed. This is going to be epic!
