Also the Season 3 listing for "Ace of Wands" is missing a listing for it's fifth serial: the 3-parter, Sisters Deadly...

It sure does - I've got a copy. Though it's nothing spectacular... (I'd gladly exchange this for "Survival Code")

There is also a complete list of all missing TISWAS episodes here: (You need to select the year & then select "view with full description" underneath it. The archive details for that particular episode of TISWAS will be underneath the episode date & details in ruby red. By the way, don't get fooled. The episodes may for 1978-1982 may say "details will be added in the future, but the archive status of these episodes is still listed underneath the episode transmission date). Anyway, here you are: www.tiswasonline.com/episode_guide.phpOh, and one last thing: Don't be fooled also on the 1974 page because there are literally NO episodes existing for 1974. There is one episode for 1975. More & more episodes seem to exist after around 1979.

So it is - I'm tempted to buy a copy as it sounds an interesting show and not one I remember ever watching as a child. Before I amend the listing on site, does anyone know if there is an official copy of 'Menace!' or 'Recipe for Disaster' and has anyone ever seen the copies for sale on ebay? Stuart

I think all the first season exists, Stuart. Mike Wormersley himself has posted on here in the past saying this (he holds them himself, I believe). Some of the stories have had re-screenings at the NFT courtesy of Mike, I think. The Kal people will know for certain.

Are there really that many episodes missing, even from the last few years, or is it just the case that the site owners don't have all the details?

Seasons 3, 4 and 5 seem to be missing totally (season 4 onwards in colour) although film inserts for some of these may exist courtesy of Mike Wormersley, film editor on the series. Series 6 to 8 survive complete as does series 1 and a sole example from series 2.

James2001, these are the OFFICIAL recordings held by Granada Media (the current owners of the ATV archive) as well as some really cranky home video recordings (probably Betamax) taken by one of the site's members, staplingmachine.

Stuart There's a third serial in the first series - The Big Freeze (4 eps) - it exists. And if you want to see them cough UKNova cough.
