Hi there. This is my first post here, so forgive me if I post in the wrong thread.
I'm writing to you to see if there has been any luck with The Frost Report in Frost's archives, I mean, have they found any in Frost's archives on the show? I know that the entirety of Series One is intact (which is quite lucky sadly), but most if not all of Series Two is lost, except the episode on 'Women'.
I've heard that they found episodes on At Last the 1948 Show in his archives, so I'm wondering if they have found any of The Frost Report.
Thank you.
-Ross

Thank you. -Ross Although it's what's officially known as an "argumentum ex nihilo"... I'd say, if there had been, we would have heared. Frost Report was BBC, while David himself may have had more of a say subsequently in the production of the 1948 show for A-R Rediffusion. At least there are audio tapes of all missing series two episodes of the Frost Report, and there are also some filmed inserts - usually Cleese and the Ronnies. I'm more interested in what could have happened to the Rhubarb Tart song. It must have been removed from the last 1948 Show episode to be used as a music video clip for something. But what, and does it still exist?

Do you suppose that they might find a clue where the "Rhubarb tart" song was sent? It was cut very precisely from the very last episode of The 1948 Show, as if someone had requested a video clip. Could there be paperwork for that?
