TV Brain has both of these as Missing Episodes
Alan if you look on
TV Pop Diaries 1971
around the same time as above, you will see that Ray Stevens appeared on The Andy Williams Show, but it does not say
which song he sang.
Bridget The Midget was released around 21 February 1971, you can check that on 45cat, to be sure please

I do remember the promo film for this being shown on TOTP back then : it was every bit as awful as the song itself.

As a matter of interest Ray Stevens performed the B side to Bridget the Midget which was called "Can We Get to That" on TOTP's 25th Feb 1971 and that exists.

Thanks Alan (Good luck in your search) Thanks, William the reason why I wanted to know about this particular song is because I'm trying to recreate the missing TOTP's shows from 1970 onwards with clips from other shows or promos or Pans People performances if they exist and this was one of many I've had trouble finding any footage to the song at all. |
