A friend of mine was telling me of this festival that was billed as the UK's best Festival line up that he went to in 1972
The line-Up was incredible :
Alexis Korner Doctor Ross Buddy Miles Rory Gallagher Nazareth Locomotive GT Roxy Music Heads, Hands and Feet Wishbone Ash The Strawbs Stone The Crows The Faces with Rod Stewart Natural Acoustic Band Focus Brewers Droop Spencer Davis Incredible String Band Lindisfarne Average White Band Persuasions Slade Monty Python's Flying Circus The Beach Boys Jackson Heights Atomic Rooster Vinegar Joe Sutherland Brothers Genesis Status Quo Don McLean Humble Pie Sha Na Na Joe Cocker Budgie
There is a short video from the BFI You Tube page made by HTV But there must surely be more footage of the festival considering the acts that appeared certainly when I believe the actor Stanley Baker was one of the organisers and helped fund the venture.
Can't find any proper footage of this anywhere on the web Can anyone help ?

Yes I was at the Bardney station tea room just last year and all the posters and memorabilia are still there to view. A work colleague went to this festival and often recalled how stellar the line-up was. It really is in the back and beyond in Lincolnshire, a fair few miles outside Lincoln. Off topic but there is a little hamlet up the road with the wonderful name of Bardney Dairies!
