For a while, actually- this is on the same tape as the color copy of the Goodies' "Come Dancing", and was found sometime in the late 1990s.

Yes when this was found the first clip to be aired on TOTP2 was The Move 'California man' and what a find it was. Great to see the (almost) full show and hear some gobshites mobile going off during the copying process!! A 'Boxing Day Special' clapperboard pops up at the end. Anyone know what that is?

er....if you looked closely, the clock at the end is for the Boxing Day TOTP.

Yes I know but is it a missing boxing day edition from '72? Episode 460 of Top of the Pops, described on the slate as the "Boxing Day Special", was actually broadcast on BBC1 at 7.10pm on Thursday, 28th December 1972. The broadcast master still exists and has been repeated several times since its original broadcast.
