Just a quick one to say I went through a tape full of Pan's People performances from 1975/76. Tape played more or less ok with just the odd sync error for 40 mins, before problems were encountered which I'll try to solve at a later date. There were I think 3 missing PP performances including "Mr Postman" in the first 40 minutes of the tape.

Absolutely marvellous news .you don't know how much this means to us pans people fans ,there are only a few missing from 1975 now ,not as though most of us will ever get the chance to view the 30 odd that have been already recovered, but it's still a good feeling to know those wonderful pans people danced from our years of growing up ,are still there somewhere.many thanks.

Great news in the fact that never can say goodbye , The night and please me postman have now been recovered on this tape ,which now only leaves 2 or possibly 3 pans people dances that are still officially missing from 1975 .That's pretty damn good saying around 5 years or so ago ,it was thought that only 10 or so dances out of 54 from that year had survived officially.

It would be great if some of the recovered pans people lost dances would be available on dvd one day .there must have been at least over 40 routines that have been recovered over the last few years .

Just to say, extracts from the three Pan's People routines, plus various other TV Museum finds, will be shown in the first half of Missing Believed Wiped on Saturday.
