last week i saw a rare video of newcastle-based band lindisfarne performing their 1978 hit 'run for home' was on the end of a grampian tv music show called 'the entertainers'.i remembered watching this on friday nights when i was little & ran i think from 1976 to 1983. the entertainers in question in this series are the current pop recording artists during the late 70s-early 80s performing at grampian tv's former queen's cross studios such as the nolans, alan price & one 1983 edition had a teenage singer named lisa stansfield before she hut the big time at the end of the 1980s.any fond memories of seeing this?if so any more information on the programme like how many series they were,TX dates on each of the editions & the archive status on the series.any missing or all of the series still in the STV archive?

I recall that Lindisfarne show - they did a few songs from the album 'Back and Forth' too such as 'Warm Feeling' plus of course their hit 'Run For Home'
Gilbert O'Sullivan was featured in another edition doing songs from his new album 'Off Centre' plus a few older hits
not sure of the dates the shows were on but I remember they were Grampian TV

I’ve got a couple of episodes on video, recorded in 1979 I think. Be interesting to know if they’re missing. Will check them out.
