Lots of films recovered were once in private collections. Some of them still are technically.

I love the way that the showing was booked prior to the announcement of the recovery/find/acquisition. Mind you, it was only after a bit of Underwater Menace (or was it Galaxy 4?) was shown that we were told about those two episodes coming to light.

If I remember from what I heard, they showed a bit of Air Lock, then showed all of Underwater as it was thought to give the serial a better representation.

MBW has a knack for showing cool stuff.

I was there for that MBW. They showed a bit of airlock, which stopped abruptly to the dismay of the audience. Then they announced that the person said he also had another episode. Underwater Menace followed that announcement. This meant none of us knew that the end shot of Airlock was missing.
