I am delighted to be running a poll to find out the 100 Most Wanted Missing TV Shows.
This has never actually been done before.
I am asking members of this Forum to vote for their 10 Most Wanted Lost Shows, UK TV only.
PLEASE DO NOT VOTE FOR DOCTOR WHO OR TOP OF THE POPS.
IN VIEW OF THE INTEREST IN THESE SHOWS, THEY HAVE ALREADY BEEN INCLUDED IN THE TOP 100.
Only one selection of ten shows per person.
Please vote either on this page, or by Private Message to myself.
Voters will come from here, personal contacts and some other online groups.
The results will be released here, and also to the media in the next few months.
Many thanks.

Interesting. Are you after shows, or episodes? Could I say, The Avengers, or should it be, series 1 episode 1 (complete)?

Interesting. Are you after shows, or episodes? Could I say, The Avengers, or should it be, series 1 episode 1 (complete)? Shows, really. This ensures that a show with interest does make the top 100, even if occasionally voters may want to see a different period recovered. The aim is to mention any specifics of interest to the media if there is particular public interest in a certain episode, rather than others.. I feel this is most likely to happen with dramas!

Does this include totally missing only, or can it cover shows only existing on home video formats & telerecordings?

Here's my Top 10:
Crossroads The Avengers Celebrity Squares Ace of Wands Ready Steady Go! Opportunity Knocks New Faces Six-Five Special Till Death Us Do Part Dixon of Dock Green
Surprisingly only 3 were BBC productions, although I would've included Doctor Who and TOTP if it was an option...

Does this include totally missing only, or can it cover shows only existing on home video formats & telerecordings? I'm counting anything where there's a significant amount missing, either completely gone or just a few shows/clips exist. For instance I included Late Night Line Up, even though there's quite a large amount of material extant, it's really the tip of the iceberg compared to what was actually broadcast.
