it certainly appears to imply that. But, like many others, what is actually meant the unexpected. I don't want to re-ignite the omni rumour (I KNOW NOTHING) but I don't ever EXPECT all remaining missing episodes to be recovered but I do live in eternal hope. I'd like tom think the long, long delay in announcing anything is that the only episode now missing is episode 3 of Web. When that is finally recovered the Big Announcement will be made. It won't happen but that would be truly unexpected to me. I remain hopefully optimistic. I just wish it would happen soon.

Nobody would have predicted Airlock and UM2 - but both turned up, To some extent PM has been chasing episodes where they were known to have been and scored with Enemy and Web.

I suppose it all boils down to his personal safety and anonymity during his searches to protect him and the safe recovery of the episodes. We all tend to forget that. Look at what happened to WOF 3-heartbreaking and criminal. Sheer selfish vandalism. Sit tight, more treasure is to come.

PM stated that he would only announce complete stories, after Web3 went missing, so there may be episodes waiting for others to be found first.

I completely agree after all he and other's have done for our community they deserve time to do it there way in absolute safety they had courage to go to some places while we all debated they had"boots on the ground". Yes I also agree there are more, this just an opinion based on the very statement of this thread. I have given this some thought one other thing that might be an issue at time of any announcement for any one who might make the announcement is potentially managing expectations ( sadly I never did buy in to the "90" find), coupled with a realisation after the announcement that the overseas stations are done with missing material. It is great to be able to talk to fellow who fans about a subject that fascinates me. Thank you for your replies

Perhaps someone who works closely with Mr. Morris could just confirm this again, but what we have been told repeatedly is that after the job is done, we will be told the results. It's just that, so far, the job hasn't been finished yet. This assurance has been told to us often and in a very straightforward fashion, so I have no reason to doubt it. Until such time as we are told the outcome, we don't know if the Omnisearch has yielded (or will yield) 90, 19, 9, or nothing more! Until then, we can speculate!

I firmly believe there will be more. I doubt PM has scored anything like enemy & web, but I believe he probably has found some random prints of orphaned episodes. It may be another 5-10 years before PM says "Thats all Folks." I think as his search continues, it evolves and more atypical leads spring up, it will likely be some time to come. I just hope all leads are exhausted until the well is dry.
Outside of TIEA there will most likely be more finds at random times when someone finds a random print in a mislabeled can or a collector discovers they hold a unique print. I also wonder/believe that the inner circle might be aware of a print(s) that is/are officially missing that, for what ever reason, cannot be officially recovered.
Expect the unexpected to me means something could be uncovered at anytime...and likley where nobody would expect it to be.
There will be more....

The fact PM gave us 9 episodes and has implied that more is on the way (along with Web of Fear 3) is hope enough. Had he not handed in 9 episodes prior to these hints, I would have my doubts. Plus, there is that tantalizing photograph of film cans on the T.I.E.A facebook, which is definitely another hint!
I would like to believe that the fact of the Singapore bicycle trail leading to a blank actually means something. 'Singapore say they have nothing', 'speculation' that the Ice Warrior film cans were survivors from Singapore returns, and 'conjecture' that Singapore must have returned their films to London just ain't good enough for me. I would like to believe that their copies - against all we know so far about the bicycling system and what went where - inadvertently ended up in a warehouse somewhere in Africa, along with a good number of other missing TV shows. Laughable as it sounds.
And who knows what the private collectors will turn up. Never say never!

As long as the prints don't look like this when they're recovered. Honestly, that would be worse than not finding them at all.

I'm also looking forward to hear about the Macra Terror New Zealand rumor as we now have fairly solid evidence that it is true, and if those prints slipped through the cracks to some random collector then who knows what else might have. If there's one thing that I've learned about film collectors it's that they are both tenacious and ingenious. They will chase down your dump trucks full of doomed film prints across the city on foot, they will intercept you, and they will buy them off of you. Who knows, maybe the reason why the can of Fury from the Deep 6 found at Villiers House didn't have the episode inside of it was because some sneaky collector/studio employee had removed the actual print from the can and replaced it with another reel so that they could smuggle the original out of the NZBC in a different can without anyone noticing. If that did happen and they did it with multiple episodes then it could explain how the Macra Terror prints could have been recorded as being junked by the NZBC and then later appear at a school: The NZBC did junk prints in a Macra Terror can, but it wasn't actually the Macra Terror inside.
