See Morecambe & Wise Episode Guide - www.morecambeandwise.com/EpisodeGuide.aspx?action=1&show=6Small Faces - ATV Series 6 (aka "Two of a Kind") Episode 2 (22/10/67) ATV appear to have held back the final episode (11) of their M&W series 6 until 1st October, 1968, after the start of the first BBC series. I would imagine any further broadcasts on the commercial side prior to M&W joining Thames in 1978 would be repeats. Janis Joplin only visited London once to my knowledge, appeared at the Royal Albert Hall on 21/4/69 - I'm not aware that she made any TV appearances here. The clip would seem to be from the Dick Cavett Show 25/6/70 www.youtube.com/watch?v=ju9yFA1S7K8

The entire Small Faces show is on Network's Two Of A Kind box set. It's on the last disc. This box set also has the Beatles appearance from 1964 in its entirety. It's well worth a punt, as is the Sunday Palladium box set which has lots of pop acts in between the other turns.

Does anyone know who that dance troupe backing up Edwin Starr were? At first I thought it might be Pan's People, but on closer inspection presumably not. For some reason I don't think they look very French!

Thanks Jeff. Pan's People sometimes performed on shows in Europe so maybe the Lift Off dancers did as well.
