So I know that parts of The Keys of Marinus 2 and 4 and The Faceless Ones 3 are missing and, unlike The Time Meddler, there is no clear indication of exactly where those are. I've been told that there are five cuts in The Velvet Web (7 seconds), three in The Snows of Terror (10 seconds), and twenty seconds of footage missing from the Faceless Ones 3. I've been trying to find exactly where these cuts are, but so far I've only found three in the Faceless Ones and one in The Snows of Terror. Does anyone know the exact time-stamps or lines where the missing footage for these episodes occurs?

www.impossiblethings.net/restorationteam/reign_of_terror.htm[The Faceless Ones] Episode three was famously recovered by Gordon Hendry when he bought it at a car boot sale in the mid-eighties The print is in very poor condition, with numerous splices and small missing sections throughout due to print damage ... a total of 27 separate film breaks, ranging in duration from a single frame to nearly three and a half seconds. In total, over twenty seconds of the episode was missing. Most of the missing sections are a fraction of a second long. Many of them have been re-created by the restoration team. It's not surprising you were unable to detect them.

They have no idea what a very poor condition print looks like...

Im glad you shared that. This has been a pet peeve of mine. When i hear comments like what a big restoration it is to clean a film and replace a few splices, it makes me chuckle.
We're fortunate that for most dr who, we're not dealing with films with serious deterioration.
