The five countries where Doctor Who episodes have disappeared: Hong Kong, Nigeria, Singapore, Zambia, and Gibraltar. With Hong Kong thoroughly searched and eliminated, the search in Nigeria nearing its conclusion, and Singapore seemingly Doctor Who free, that just leaves two countries: Gibraltar and Zambia. I know that Phil Morris visited Zambia in 2008 and declared ZTV held no episodes, but I am curious how thorough the search was. Was it long and scrutinous like the one in Nigeria or was it a quick check in that could have missed things? Also, has Phil Morris or any other distinguished episode hunter scoured Gibraltar?

Also, has Phil Morris or any other distinguished episode hunter scoured Gibraltar? 100% thorough and more. At the Starburst Film Festival he couldn't say where he had been, for obvious reasons, but in time we will be told all, and I'm sure we'll be quite amazed at how many places he has visited, and how 11 out 10 thorough his search has been. Us fans of missing episodes, it's like we're the shepherds in the Bible story, watching the sheep, and it's like God has unexpectedly sent us this person named Phil Morris out of nowhere to bring us good news!

Actually, if you see how badly some people WANT to believe in Missing Who, it does have some similarities to faith and/or superstition...

Yes, just like the bible you have some who reject the New Who and only follow the Old Ones. And did this prophet not already predict the loss of episodes?

That's a bloody brilliant comparison!

If Phil was checking it'll be thorough. From listening to him, if there's one thing I've learnt it's that the paper trail that many have relied upon to be correct - often isn't. What people were supposed to have done, isn't always the case..

As he's explained, he restores and backs up everything for them. It's his business to be thorough and create a good reputation to convince others to also get in touch with him. Everything is checked, this isn't just BBC or ITV material, every bit of local material is checked as well.
In short, if they have it he's checked it.

Hmmm....and we all know what happened at the end of that episode...! He's not the messiah! No, but the return of EOTW and Web was nothing short of a miracle. I'm hoping that the prophecy "expected the unexpected" refers to a 5 loaves and 2 fishes scenario, where the 9 discovered episodes become 97

Job 8:14 reads:
Parallel Verses New International Version What they trust in is fragile; what they rely on is a spider's web.
New Living Translation Their confidence hangs by a thread. They are leaning on a spider's web.
English Standard Version His confidence is severed, and his trust is a spider’s web.
New American Standard Bible Whose confidence is fragile, And whose trust a spider's web.
Or not.Personally,I've got a lot of faith in the missing Web turning up.

Matthew 7:7 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock on the doors of the relay stations, and they will be opened to you."
Luke 15:6 "And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbours, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found the episodes which were lost!'
Matthew 18:13 "If it turns out that he finds Web of Fear episode 3, truly I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-six which have not gone astray."
