If there are an infinite amount of alternate dimensions, then there would be one exactly like ours except that no episodes would be missing. However, what if there was an alternate dimension exactly like ours with exactly the same number of missing episodes, but different ones. That’s where this list comes in. What I did is I took all of the missing episodes and reversed them (If An Unearthly Child 1 were missing in this world then The War Games 10 would be missing according to this list, while An Unearthly Child 1 would exist. I hope that makes sense). I also calculated surviving clips and missing segments. In this alternate universe there are still 97 missing episodes, but they aren’t all the same as this world’s. Remember, this list is completely random and every episode and segment is exactly where it should be (Except for the First Doctor’s regeneration clip which should have landed with The Savages 1, but I decided to keep it where it was in the Tenth Planet 4). I did take some liberty when it came to which episodes were animated/reconstructed, but the Levine commission, and the episode lost forever both correspond to their correct episodes. My question to you is this, after looking over the list, would you switch out our reality for this one if you had the choice?

Ian Levine commissioned an animation for The Evil of the Daleks Episode 5.
Rumor has it that the BBC is animating all four episodes of the Gunfighters. Some sources claim that an animation for all four episodes of the Celestial Toymaker, or at least a two episode long condensed version, are also being made.
3 minutes and 32 seconds of alternate takes exist for The Dalek Invasion of Earth 6
Short segments are missing from the following episodes: The Tomb of the Cybermen 3 (0:12), The Evil of the Daleks 7 (0:27), The Power of the Daleks 5 (Unknown. Next episode caption missing), The Smugglers 1 (1:00) and 2 (0:08), The Ark 1 (0:02), and The Daleks’ Master Plan 4 (0:20).

(The 27 second regeneration clip from the Tenth Planet 4 should go to The Savages 1, but as I think the lack of the regeneration clip could greatly sway the results, I am leaving it with TTP4.)
Total amount of time for surviving footage/missing segments are above.
3 episodes without any clips VS. 3 episodes without any clips.
So are you going to choose the real world and have more complete stories, or the alternate world and have a more even spread of serials? Would you go for more Hartnell, or Troughton? Is there a favorite story that you think needs to exist?
As for me, I think I would switch out our reality for this one, being the Troughton fan that I am.
