I spoke with a woman at Renown Pictures yesterday asking if they had any plans to release more of their Southern TV holdings on DVD. She appeared to believe that there isn't much interest to make it worth while but did say she would think about it. How many people here would buy such releases I wonder? I did suggest Operation Patch and Park Ranger as well as Tell Me Another. She did not think anyone would be interested in buying Tell Me Another at all. What do people here think?
One thing that surprises me is that she said Renown do not hold programmes like Brendon Chase and Worzel Gummidge and these are held by Endemol. Have Endemol got any of the other missing Southern TV items I wonder. Does anyone know if they have been checked?
If people say here what Southern shows they would like Renown to release then I will let them know. I will ask on the zeta minor forum too.

Hi Nigel, I am interested in any classic TV. I would also like to see Renown Pictures release the second season of Burke's Law and Amos Burke - Secret Agent. After all they did release the first season.

From the top of my head I think Endemol hung on to Churchill The Wilderness Years and How. At one time they also owned Out of Town but Jack Hargreaves's stepson Simon Baddeley bought the rights from them. There may be others. I know David King put a detailed list of who held what but I can't locate it at the moment, possibly it was another forum.
