Been looking forward to this release for years I wouldn't tell everyone this, but I have vivid memories of Freddie Frinton holding up a pair of knickers which bear the motif "Target for tonight".It seemed quite the rudest (and quite ickiest) thing I'd seen on TV all year.(I missed a lot of Wednesday Plays). So what's the betting that it wasn't Freddie Frinton,or if it was,it wasn't Meet the Wife,or if it was,it doesn't survive?

'It's time for tea and meet the wife.' In the 5th May 1964 episode, the paperboy is chalking on the wall, and gets as far as 'Beat...' when Freddie Frinton opens the door. Oh, and it's a three-disc set. Four episodes on disc 1 (including the Comedy Playhouse pilot), four on disc 2, and eight (!) on disc 3.
