It's interesting that both Hancock's Half Hour & Till Death Do Us Part both featured an episode about giving blood, & regarded as one of the best. That's so off-topic. ...I love it that an episode of Father Dear Father is on the same topic, with Pactrick Cargill whining about giving an armful.(He was the doctor in the Hancock).

Like "silly moo" and Alf's East London "blahddy", "randy Scouse git" was a phrase that was just "in the air" at the time. I doubt that Dolenz took much opportunity to sit and watch Brit-coms on his visit (trip??), even TDUDP. My guess is he heard the expression a couple of times in conversation and the seeds of a song were sown from that. Dolenz did appear to know enough about "Til Death Do Us Part" to quote it as the source material for the song. Even his story behind changing the song title to "Alternate Title" you felt he knew why he had to find a new title.

I agree Jeff, that's certainly the way I understood it.

Blahddy hell. So Alf's fawn and kicked the bucket. I mean to say, sad ain't it? He's gone and joined his silly old Moo. I mean... Love him or loathe him, Warren created a real character. So sad a lot of episodes are missing. In Sickness and in Health was also pretty good. But at time like this why are some of you worrying about Micky Dolenz? Unless he recorded Til Death in the sixties. RIP Alf/Warren

Now there's a thought. He was, (legend has it), blown away by the program, perhaps he rushed out from his London hotel room during the Monkees tour, bought a Sony Reel to Reel Video recorder, lugged it back, taped Alf and, delighted with the results returned to the States tape in bag only to find out that it wouldn't play. Oh stinky plops!!
