Also there is a hoard of films / videos / recordings in the archive at East Anglia University. The above that have been digitised and uploaded are only about 200 hours worth.
"The collection comprises about 12,000 hours of film and up to 30,000 hours of videotape. The content mainly relates to the East of England region (Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk). It also includes collections of national and international scope. All of the material is intended to be for educational and cultural use.
"Most of the material is not owned by UEA and, therefore, it cannot be used for commercial purposes. The biggest collection, that of Anglia Television (about 7,500 hours of film and 15,000 hours of videotape), is owned by ITV plc and the second biggest is owned by the BBC (about 1,000 hours of film and 6,500 hours of videotape). The film library of the Institute of Amateur Cinematographers (400 hours) is the third major collection on deposit at the Archive. All the other films (about 3,000 hours) are in 700 individual collections from hundreds of individuals, families, companies and organisations. These collections range in size from a single item to 100 hours."They have something like 30,000 films."

Ok, EAFA is one of the 'Regional Archives' and all of their shows are known about, as such, in terms of that the BBC and Anglia shows in question are there with the consent of those respective organizations, and SHOULD be listed as existing if they are in there. In my early days of finding shows I trawled the Regional Archives, and occasionally a show will turn up that is on 'local' interest, but where the copyright is held by someone other than ITV Studios or the BBC. Anglia have a couple, if I remember like this. This is the one I can remember:- Magpie 'Dear Mum....Love Andrew' ""Series 8 24.10.75 Episode 32 (missing)"" www.eafa.org.uk/search.aspx#&&page=1&navid=&psize=10&text=andrew+mumIn that programme the copyright would be held at Fremantle. There are a few shows in Regional Archives that were filmed in the Region in question (such as the above one in Hunstanton), or occasionally have been donated by a local individual, but that do not qualify on grounds of coming from a relevant regional broadcaster.
