A few years, back, the a new searchable database was created at Unionsearch, where delighted members of this forum found/revealed perhaps a few hundred shows which had been donated to the BFI decades before, and had remained uncatalogued until then. Many of the shows were from ITV,with the majority, perhaps, from the 70s. Many shows followed.I'm wondering if there's some easy way of identifying likely finds.Where would be the best place to look for a definitive list of broadcasts for the period? Is there any documentation about the donation/s?

Can anybody please clarify what was found on Crossroads? Where was it announced? Were these episodes unknown to exist before this?
Thanks!
