Quote below from Tim Disney on the Kaleidoscope facebook page reference the recovery you may be talking about and considering the source definitely something to it and to look forward to:

Hello again. I know I've not been around these parts for sometime. I'm a one-man scheduling and traffic department for Big Centre TV at the moment. Anyone who's worked in tele and understands those roles will appreciate why I'm never around smile emoticon TV is a hungry beast that constantly needs feeding and burping! However, I thought I'd perk things up with a teaser of some forthcoming lost Rediffusion returns which includes a few episodes of a kid's programme that will fill in some of the gaps in a well known series, an episode of a long lost Rediffusion sit-com, a drama that was possibly never even transmitted, the return of an incomplete edition of a certain well known crime drama and I think three, from memory, editions of another well-known A-R drama series, along with some Intertel / Rediffusion documentaries. All in all, quite a nice recovery of a Rediffusion stash. It came at a price, but all will be revealed soon. I'm hoping to shoot an interview with the collector who sold me the stuff and put something together for you to watch as soon as I can. Watch this space for now wink emoticon

For a birthday wish, I started thinking what these could possibly be, let's see what Tim Disney is saying.. 1. "a few episodes of a kid's programme that will fill in the gaps in a well known series"..my wish is either Five O Clock Club/Funfair or Send Foster, but I guess it's more likely to be Orlando. 2. "an episode of a long lost Rediffusion sit-com", my wish is Mr. Aitch, but it could something earlier than that. 3. " I think three, from memory, editions of another well-known A-R drama series", if it's A-R, I can't have The Informer, The Gamblers, Sanctuary, Blackmail, Seven Deadly Sins/Virtues because these were later Rediffusion, so it's more likely to be Crane, The Hidden Truth or It Happened Like this. Time will tell what they indeed are, does anyone agree with my wishlist and 'more likely's, or would you like something else?..

Badger's Bend has been mentioned as another 'maybe'. One of the problems with speculation is that when we hear about unspecified finds,we start fantasising about filling in gaps.Thousands of people a couple of years ago were imagining a world in which Power or Marco Polo had been found, because that niche had been opened-anything seemed possible for a while there.

more series 1 episodes of "Do Not Adjust Your Set" crossed my mind as being both well known and a kid's series , but only time (and Tim) will tell.

There are some Boyd Q.C.s knocking about,of course...
Poking the parcel,I'd say it's either a hand-knitted tandem,or The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire-the Ulbricht edition,of course.
(I could't remember the line Hancock used in the library at the start of The Missing Page?).
