Does anyone here know the status of the Nature/Documentary series "Survival" it was first shown in 1961 and produced by Anglia television lostshows only says 3 shows were made but that's way off the mark . The original series ran for 40 years in which nearly 1000 shows were produced i think it started off as a half hour series and these are the one's im interested in thanks for any help on these.

IIRC Anglia founded a company just to produce Survival.
Channel 4 were showing them in the 1990s.

I believe all exist.
There is a special database regarding these shows at ITN Source.

I believe all exist. There is a special database regarding these shows at ITN Source. 10,000 hours worth, according to this link ITNSource.com/survival. So a good Survival rate! Did anyone play Anglia Multimedia's PC Game " Virtual Safari"? You could find a projector in one of the rooms in "Three Trees Lodge" and play clips of Survival films. ~iw

I remember hearing somewhere that they were all made in colour right from the beginning - is this correct?
