I think this is a good cause.
While it would be great if it could be done with lower salaries, the amount of material Is great compared to the cost.

I dunno mate. Chopping the staff's salaries down would be a drop in the ocean next to 40m. Not to mention unfair on people who I bet don't get that much anyway.
I think it is a great pity that a cultural treasure trove such as this doesn't get the funding it needs. I hardly need bother making a speech about future generations etc.........
