Whilst browsing the internet looking for tips on home movie transfer I came across the website for an impressive looking company called Alive studios who seem to be at the forefront of digital restoration/transfers. On their news page they detail their work on a recent project a transfer and remastering of an early sixties Danziger ITV production Richard the LionheartWe were given the original 16mm sound reels to work from. We made a High Definition scan of the film and a high quality sound recording from the optical sound stripe. We then produced a true HD output in perfect sync for our clients, in a format suitable for further editing or broadcasting.www.alivestudios.co.uk/_news/2013/10-11/richardLooks like it's destined for a release this year as this article is dated November last year

There was an attempt to release RTL a few years ago,by a Danziger family member- but the result appeared to be unsatisfactory in all departments IE.ordering, picture quality etc.
This one looks impressive.
Apparently the complete series was filmed in 21 weeks - as everybody probably sweated buckets for the Danziger Brothers LOL ?

I'm a bit nonplussed by the entry for Cast of Blackadder. Seen it?

No, it hasn't. And I wouldn't expect it to be kept on film. What WAS found on 16mm during the making of "Blackadder Rides Again" was a number of films from 3 episodes of series 1. They contain many extra scenes. That's most likely what they meant. Oh well, "Austrian Royal Family" doesn't make much sense either.

Possibly a typo for "Australian Royal Family".
