you guys might know better but I sent a email to planet 55 to either confirm or deny a release date or if they have indeed finished or started the animation and this is the reply I got "Isla Curtis is no longer available from this address. Please forward all correspondence to " followed by the email address I sent the original email to! it might be a internet glitch but who knows ?

Not buying any cartoons until this farce with Phil Morris is resolved once and for all by the man himself either admitting he has no more episodes or by handing them over for whatever recompense he needs. I'm hoping this silly rumor does not stop reconstructions and recoveries. Every time an episode is animated there is no guarantee it will not be recovered. And even if pm still finds a, few more, it could possibly take years before everything is worked out before release. If those underwater menace animations were released on schedule there would have been plenty of time to recoup the investment and also give us other stories checked off our list which now might be a closed opportunity because of the new system. Hopefully there is a more legitimate reason for its lack of release other than a silly rumor

And what about crusade ? It is strange that we have come so far in dvd releases that we are now stalled at the last 2 !

Its because its clear they dont want us to know something............ It should of been out by now really..........

I'm waiting to see a cleaned up version of it. Looks like that might take a long time. It's unfortunate and annoying especially that it was announced when founded in 2011.

I would like to see an interview the director Julia Smith, it would be fascinating to hear her memories of the making of the The Underwater Menace. Apparently one day's filming resulted in her being in tears.

I'm just worried that coupling the fact that WoF sold just fine without animation and the fact that Planet 55 is backlogged made the BBC decide to just go forward and get the DVD out there rather than continuing to wait. Presumably once that's released the contract for DVD production is ended.

I guess they had to recoup money as quick as possible for one reason or another. So could not wait for planet 55 to find the time !
